Georgetown remembers its much beloved Rabbi Harold White, who spent more than half a century at Georgetown teaching, counseling and promoting interreligious understanding.Taking his place as the university’s rabbi in July, 1968, he taught countless students across all faith traditions, led High Holy Days services, enhanced academic offerings focused on Judaism, and helped create the Program for Jewish Civilization in 2004.He also fought for social justice issues, including as a Freedom Rider in the civil rights movement.Fore more information: https://www.georgetown.edu/rabbi-harold-white-remembered
